Our story

Two friends, a garage, and a lot of coffee

What started more than 20 years ago as a friendship built on cars turned into a family-owned shop with over 15 years of professional repair behind it. We are not a chain and we do not have a corporate script.

Every vehicle that comes through the door gets treated like it belongs to our own family, because in a town this size it usually belongs to somebody we know. That is also why we would rather tell you a repair can wait than sell you one you do not need.

More about the shop

How it works

No surprises, start to finish

  1. Tell us what it is doing

Call us or send the form. Describe the noise, the light, the smell — whatever you noticed. You do not need to know the part name.

  2. We diagnose it free

We find the actual cause, not just the code, then call you with what is wrong and exactly what it costs. No work starts before you say go.

  3. We fix it and you drive

ASE-certified repair with trusted parts, most jobs same-day. If we finish faster than quoted, you pay the lower number.

Reviews from Georgetown drivers

These guys are straight shooters. They do not overcomplicate your repair, they do not talk BS, and they get it done.
Scott P.
They quoted 4 hours, then called and said it is only going to take 2.5 hours. I really appreciate the honesty — most shops would have just billed me the four.
Bo W.
The most helpful and standup mechanics around. I trust them deeply with every vehicle we own.
Will K.
This place is wonderful. Mauricio is always kind and helpful, and never makes me feel stupid for asking questions.
Nanci P.
Both Mauricio and Mikael were thorough and professional. They explained the problem and what it would take to fix it before doing the work.
David A.
The work was outstanding and the care was even better.

Questions we get asked most

Why is my check engine light on?

It could be something simple like a loose gas cap, or it might point to a more serious issue with your engine, sensors, or emissions system. Stop by and we will run advanced diagnostics to pinpoint the problem and give you a clear plan to fix it, so you are not left guessing.

How often should I change my oil?

Most vehicles need an oil change every 3,000 to 7,500 miles, depending on the type of oil and your driving conditions. We will help you choose the right schedule for your car, and we make oil changes quick and hassle-free.

When do I need to replace my brake pads or rotors?

Brake pads usually last around 20,000 to 30,000 miles, but squealing, grinding, or longer stopping distances mean it is time to get them checked. We offer full brake inspections and repairs to keep you safe on the road.

Why does my car shake, pull, or ride rough?

Shaking, pulling, or a rough ride often comes from alignment, suspension, or tire issues. Our ASE-certified mechanics inspect your suspension and steering system, make the necessary repairs, and perform a precision alignment to restore a smooth, safe ride.

What type of oil or fuel should I use?

We will recommend the right oil type — conventional, synthetic blend, or full synthetic — based on your vehicle and your driving habits. For fuel, follow the manufacturer recommendation, and if you drive diesel we have you covered with specialized diesel repair and maintenance.

What is wrong with my A/C or heater?

If your A/C is not blowing cold or your heater is not warming up, it could be anything from low refrigerant to a faulty compressor or blower motor. We specialize in A/C and heating repair to keep you comfortable through Texas summers and winters.

Why is my car making a strange noise or smell?

Squealing brakes, clunking suspension, or burning smells are all signs something is not right. Bring it by and we will track down the source quickly, so small issues do not turn into costly repairs.

How much will this repair cost, and do you guarantee your work?

We provide free, no-pressure estimates up front, so you always know the cost before we begin. Our repairs are backed by trusted parts, ASE-certified expertise, and a commitment to stand behind the work we do.
